This tranquil retreat in the heart of Smaland provides an ideal escape for those seeking to immerse themselves in the countryside. We were impressed by the well-maintained interior and gardens. the restaurant staff undoubtedly makes the visit even more enjoyable; they were welcoming, offered an outstanding service, and provided walking directions. the restaurant served an exceptional meal; appetizing dishes were beautifully presented, paired with local wine or beer. A unique bonus is the billiard room in the basement.
One of the off-putting things is the hotel's distance away from popular attractions, although if you seek the serenity and comfort, it’s perfect.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly and helpful, providing me with useful information on transportation and nearby locations to explore. The cleanliness of the hotel was amazing, making me feel comfortable and at ease during my entire stay. the hotel facilities were excellent and made my stay even better. Lastly, the breakfast was tasty and satisfying, providing a great way to start my day.

This is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. The surrounding countryside is breathtaking and is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing escape. The staff was friendly and provided us with a walking map to explore around the area. The dinner was delicious and had options for different types of tastes. the billiard room was a great addition and allowed us to have fun with our friends.
There weren't many options for entertainment in the hotel after dinner. Some more indoor activities like board games or books in common areas would have been appreciated.

My New Year experience in the heart of Smaland was amazing! the cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made it the best holiday ever. the location was perfect, with a beautiful garden and walking distance to breathtaking countryside views. the three-course dinner was delicious and beautifully presented. the bonus billard room was a plus!
Honestly, there were no negative aspects. Everything was perfect: from the location to the food and staff.
